Hours: Nov - Feb 8 am to 5 pm. March - Oct, 8 am to 7 pm. Open 365 days a year, for self-guided exploration, walks and meanderings. Check calendar for current hours and events.
Fees: Donation-based or as required per event. Donation boxes located at entrance.
Kid-friendly: Yes. A wonderful place to visit with children. Wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms available. Lots of parking available.
The Solano Land Trust hosted an eclipse viewing on August 21, 2017 at Rush Ranch on Grizzly Island Road. The event, part of the Rush Ranch Stargazing program of 2017, began at 9 a.m. with partial eclipse viewing. The maximum eclipse time was at 10:17 a.m. Telescopes and binoculars were available for public viewing along with other safe viewing aids. Astronomy enthusiast Jon Pannier was on hand to answer questions and show the safe way to view the eclipse. All enthusiasts were so helpful to the kids. It was a fantastic site to gather for the eclipse.
