ABOUT
Nature Kids Solano was created in January 2016, by local homeschool mom and nature enthusiast, Dana Vandeweg. We are a community-based, volunteer-run, outdoor nature club and virtual homeschool co-op, based in Solano County.
Our goal is to help you and your children connect with nature, get outside and spend quality time together -- all while having fun and making new friends. Our activities and outings are engaging, physical and creative -- a little guided structure, but mostly fun, unstructured, play-based learning.

We also moved our online group hosting platform. We are now using the BAND app. If you would like to rejoin, please fill out a new registration waiver form. We did not automatically migrate members due to the long pause of in-person classes due to Covid. Thank you for understanding.
As of October 2021, we are taking a semi-permanent pause for in-person meet-ups. Check back next summer 2022 to see if our group activities return. Thank you for understanding.
